Teen Parents
Teen Parent Support is active in over 9 communities, often in partnership with local churches or crisis pregnancy agencies. Trained adults connect with young moms and dads to help them make good choices and establish a solid foundation, not only in their lives, but also in the lives of their babies.
Weekly meetings provide education and support in the areas of:
- personal and child health care
- food preparation&
- financial management
- discipline issues
Pregnancy is only one aspect of the situation. The majority of teens will go through their pregnancy and choose to be the primary caregiver. We must come along side them and assist them to become the best moms and dads that they can.
